about Bridge the gap

Bring police and their communities closer together.

During 2020, we recognized tensions were high between law enforcement and underserved communities in South Florida. We saw a need to help bridge the gap between the two groups. Bridge the Gap was born to help unite the community and provide a forum for local police and the community to come together and start the process of closing the gap.

step-by-step process

How It Works

Each month, we work with local police departments to donate needed items into their local communities, from diapers and food to new toys and fun activities.

1

Collect Supplies and Toys

For Bridge the Gap, we collect donations and work with local suppliers to gather food, diapers, new toys, and other necessities for families in need.

2

Provide Donations to Local Police

We then provide the collected items to local police departments to be distributed within their local communities once per month.

3

Connect Police & Communities

We also host fun family activities with the police in underserved communities to continue the efforts of building stronger relations with their communities.
